Getting around the Akame Waterfalls

The easiest way to get around the Akama Waterfalls is by car, but most major sights and attractions are accessible by a combination of trains and busses. Though, travelers will have to rely on single tickets or a prepaid card, since no special train or bus passes are provided within this area. If you decide to rent a car, it is advised to do so from one of the bigger cities in the vicinity. Getting to the Akame Waterfalls

Public transportation:

To get from Osaka to Akame Waterfalls by public transportation, travelers need to take a train and a bus. Detailed instructions are as follows:

  1. Take the Kintetsu Osaka Line from Osaka-Namba Station to Akameguchi Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

  2. Transfer to the Mie Kotsu Bus bound for Akame Onsen. The journey takes about 20 minutes.
