Nestled among dominant mountains and to the north of Nagoya, Gifu is home to numerous parks and gardens, sights and monuments. Visit the Kinkazan Observatory and the ropeway Mountaintop in particular to get a chance to see some amazing views of the city.
The easiest way around Gifu is on foot, since the major sights and attractions are within walking distance from each other.
