Getting around in Koyasan

The easiest way around Koyasan is on foot, since the major sights and attractions are within walking distance from each other.

Getting to Koyasan

Public transportation:
Travelers who come by train will have to transfer at either Gokurakubashi station or Koyasan station. From Gokurakubashi station, travelers can take a short cable car ride to Koyasan station.
