Lake Miyagase is a man-made lake and functions as a reservoir of Miyagase Dam. The Aikawa Park and Fokkasan Observatory are perfect to take in the wonderful sights. After enjoying the views, you can have traditional experience at Aikawa Park Craft Studio Village or hike up to Mount Takatori.
The easiest way around Lake Miyagase is on foot, since the major sights and attractions are within walking distance from each other. Alternatively, you have the option to take a cable car up to the lake.

Travelers who come by public transportation will have to transfer at Hon-Atsugi Station. From there, it is a 40 minute bus ride to Lake Miyagase.
