Okuhida is a mountainous area of central Japan which offers more than 6 different mountains to hike up! In winter, there is the Honoki Daira ski resort, and during the rest of the year there are a huge number of hot springs, nature reserves and even a morning market to explore.
The easiest way to get around in Okuhida is by car, but most major sights and attractions are accessible by a combination of trains and busses.
