Daisetsuzan is one of the most impressive national parks in Japan. Not only its sheer size, but also the unspoiled nature, which is perfect for hiking and the unique hot spring towns located within the national park. During fall, it is a famous destination for fall colors.
The easiest way to get around in Daisetsuzan is by car, since many of the major sights and attractions are not accessible by public transportation.
