The easiest way to get around in Hanno is by car, since the sights are a bit spread out in the area. Though most of the sights and attractions are accessible by public transportation. To get from Tokyo to Hanno by public transportation, travelers need to take the Seibu Ikebukuro Line from Ikebukuro Station to Hanno Station. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes.

The nearest and most convenient airport is Haneda Airport in Tokyo.

The hiking season in this area typically runs from Spring until Autumn.
 

Beaches:

The swimming season on mainland Japan is usually between July and August.
