The easiest way around Mount Takao is on foot, since the major sights and attractions are within walking distance from each other. Alternatively, you have the option to take a cable car or chair lift up the mountain.

Public transportation:
Travelers who come by train should get off at Takaosanguchi station. From there they have the option to either hike, take a cable car or chairlift up the mountain.
