The easiest way to get around is by car. Though, most major sights and attractions are also accessible by bus, as there is vast bus network within the area.

To get from Tokyo to Fujinomiya in the Mount Fuji Shizuoka Area by public transportation, travellers have the following options:

Option 1: Bullet Train:

First, take the Tokaido Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Mishima Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.

Transfer to the JR Tokaido Main Line and take the train to Fuji Station.

From there, transfer to the Fujikyuko Bus bound for Fujinomiya Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
