Getting around in Manazuru

The easiest way to get around in Manazuru is on foot, since most of the sights are within walking distance. Though, some sights are located a bit further, where a car or bus might be necessary to get there. If you decide to rent a car, it is advised to do so from the nearest airport in the vicinity. Getting to Manazuru

Public transportation:

To get from Tokyo to Manazuru by public transportation, travelers can choose from the following options:

  • Bullet Train:

    1. Take the Tokaido Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Odawara Station. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes.

    2. Transfer to the JR Tokaido Main Line at Odawara Station and take the train towards Atami.

    3. Get off at Manazuru Station. The journey from Odawara to Manazuru takes approximately 20 minutes.

  • Regular Train:

    1. Take the JR Tokaido Main Line from Tokyo Station to Odawara Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.

    2. Transfer to the JR Tokaido Main Line at Odawara Station and take the train towards Atami.

    3. Get off at Manazuru Station. The journey from Odawara to Manazuru takes approximately 20 minutes.

From Manazuru station, it is about 20 minutes by bus to most sights within Manazuru. Be advised that buses run infrequent in this area.
