Getting around Gamagori

The easiest way to get around Gamagori is by car, but most major sights and attractions are accessible by a combination of trains and busses. Though, travelers will have to rely on single tickets or a prepaid card, since no special train or bus passes are provided within this area. Since Gamagori is located quite rurally, it is best to rent a car ahead from one of the bigger destinations close by. To get from Nagoya to Gamagori by public transportation, travelers need to take the JR Tokaido Main Line from Nagoya Station to Gamagori Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.
