Getting around in Ikoma

The easiest way around Ikoma is on foot, since the major sights and attractions are within walking distance from each other. There is also a cable car that will bring you to either Hozanji Temple or the amusement park on the top of the mountain.

To get from Osaka to Ikoma by public transportation, travelers need to take the Kintetsu Nara Line Rapid Express train from Osaka-Namba Station to Ikoma Station. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. From there, they can either hike up the mountain or take the cable-car up.
