Getting around Myoko Kogen

The easiest way to get around in Myoko Kogen is by car, but most major sights and attractions are accessible by a combination of trains and busses. If you decide to rent a car, it is advised to do so from the nearest airport in the vicinity. Travelers who come by train will have to get off at Myokokogen station. From there, most sights are only a short bus or taxi ride away.

The nearest and most convenient airport is Haneda Airport in Tokyo.

  • by public transport: approximately 7 hours

  • by bullet-train: approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes (bullet-train available between Tokyo station and Joetsumyoko station.
